The collection was developed from a study on the body in which the designer Poppy Rennó explores the decontextualization of human anatomy and rethinks our physical structure as a system of languages. Dealing with the concept of countersexuality, elaborated by the philosopher Paul B. Preciado in the book "Countersexual Manifesto", Poppy proposes a genderless approach that challenges and reaffirms the body perception conceived in a heterosexual centered system.
The latex fabrics were made by the designer and they mimic the human skin as well as they refer to artificiality, rubber and plastic.
